Helping hands overkilled
thingiverse
These helping hands work with Loc-Line® Modular Coolant Hose System, 1/4" Diameter (I dont know about the knockoff blue hose systems. The alligator clips are the ones that come out of the Harbor Freight multi-kit($3.49). They are the bare ones with the screws included. The ends measured .200" in diameter and the screw is located about .800" from the end. You might have to squish it down a little to fit. I made these tight, so it would be a good idea to print an extra piece, just incase it cracks. If you cant push the tube into the base, use a utility knife and scrape the inside of the print out a little (very little) until you can press it in. The holes are intended for #6 drywall screws. If you carefully clamp the alligator end in a vise, you can push the tube down onto the part, then install the clip. I hot glued mine to a transformer so it can easily be transported around.
