Helping Hands Base Plate

I use this to stabilize the base plate of one of those ultra-cheap helping hands with a too-tiny cast iron base. As seen on reddit, but I was negligent about posting the link because the reddit app didn't give me any notifications of new comments so I assumed it got like 1 or 2 upvotes and that was it and I don't log in to reddit that often.
