Seeking an additional helping hand, I initially considered purchasing a device but ultimately decided on trying out dougc314's approach. Having previously experimented with cloth pegs for another project, I found it straightforward to recreate the design in Blender. To proceed, download my two STL files and print them at double size; support may be necessary for the "hoseball-pegstop" model. I opted not to use support for mine, and it turned out fine. Print using ABS with a 40% infill rate, layer thickness of 0.5mm, and no additional shells. Next, download dougc314's thing from Thingiverse, following their guidelines. For my setup, I modified the "baseflange" to directly attach to an existing flexible hose; see the "doublebaseflange" file. Finally, download StefanHH's thing from Thingiverse and follow the provided directions. If you dislike the cloth peg shape, feel free to use an alternative design from Thingiverse ID 7680.
