Helper and 5.5mm spacer to mount springs under the bed on Prusa MK3
thingiverse
I mounted the springs under the bed with ease, thanks to this helpful solution: https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/user-mods-octoprint-enclosures-nozzles--f65/fix-bed-variance-warp-using-flat-springs-t23693-s50.html (Fix Bed Variance / Warp Using Flat Springs). These springs resolved many problems for me. Initially, I was unable to print full bed parts on my MK3 due to issues with the print bed. However, after upgrading to the firmware from 3d-gussner and implementing the hyperfine bed leveling system (https://github.com/3d-gussner/Prusa-Firmware/releases), I was able to print those parts on my MK2 successfully. Now, thanks to these upgrades, I am able to print full bed parts on both my MK2 and MK3 printers. To maintain the standard 5.5mm space between the frame and the bed, I created a helper piece that is 5.5mm high. This tool allows me to properly position all of the springs, especially the central one, which is located 17mm from each side of the frame.
