I've discovered areas where feeling secure is compromised, and when confronted with threatening situations, calling the police isn't always an option. To address this concern, I developed a concept that enables discreet notification of the authorities. A money clip was selected as the device due to its ubiquity and low-profile design. The idea involves integrating a Bluetooth module into the clip, which connects to your smartphone and sends a notification to the police or designated emergency contact upon button activation. This feature still requires development, including designing an app that transmits customized messages to law enforcement via text message, utilizing your phone's location data to pinpoint your precise whereabouts. The project is ongoing, but I'm optimistic about bringing this concept to life with further refinement of its components.
