Helmet Ventilation Construction Simplified Designed for a low-profile, Non-Invasive-Ventilation (NIV) Helmet prototype developed for healthcare professionals at Michael Garron Hospital and Toronto's University Health Network. A self-sealing fitting with a 22mm diameter allows for easy connection of inspiratory and expiratory paths to/from the NIV helmet. This fitting provides a secure interface for respiratory tubing and accessories, featuring a 22mm outer diameter male connection. To install, cut a small hole in the soft plastic hood of the helmet, insert the port, then tighten the nut. Ensure a tight seal between the port and hood by aligning the tongue and groove, guaranteeing effective ventilation. Example Video: https://youtu.be/RdinKRQacM4
