I opted for the Scorpion brand helmet stand but couldn't justify the expense so I decided to create one myself. For the same cost as a single stand, I can print numerous ones from a single spool of filament. I printed mine using TPU and it turned out quite well. Utilize your slicer (simplify3d, cura, etc) to scale up the Z axis in order to make it deeper or any other modification you desire.
