## **Justification** Made for the [Guayama Airsoft Fast Helmet](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09B9XSCPD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1). I quite like this helmet. It's relatively cheap compared to many other options on the market, but still looks good. Problem is, its retention mechanism leaves much to be desired. By default if you shake your head even a bit, it'll come loose. So I made a different one, which fit the previous enclosure, but allowed the mechanism to lock, and thereby eliminate the original problem. ## **Bill Of Materials** - ABS Filament - 1x 0.6x7x10mm Spring - 1x M2*16 Screw - 1x RX-M2x4 Heat-Set Insert ## **Post-Printing** ### Supports Removal Supports removal with this one can be a pain, but it's definitely possible. ### Additional Post-Processing The hole for the screw in the pinion gear tends to come out a bit too small -- the screw should be able to slide freely within it. If this is not the case, just take a small Phillip's head screwdriver, and widen it a bit. And of course, make sure you properly embed the heat-set insert. Make sure to let the whole thing cool down before putting it together.
