I did this on my Sony FDR-X3000r, but it should work with other Sonys that have a similar design. To mount it, you'll need two things: one 1/4'' screw - I recommend something like these http://fave.co/2ouks0i or http://fave.co/2ouhfOr (10 mm long) and a GoPro or similar helmet adapter; I use this one http://fave.co/2ouhQ2D or http://fave.co/2ouzZgv. If you want the bubble level version, you'll need these: http://fave.co/2nwZmty. You can choose the version that suits you best: strong for normal use; very strong for enduro riders or high-stress activities; or very_strong_livella for the bubble level. Good luck!
