What You Need 1. An old 15mm nylon bag strap that's about 50cm long should be perfect - I found one around my house. 2. A GoPro adaptor with a straight, 90-degree design can be downloaded from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40291. 3. The GoPro screw and nuts are also required. Installation Instructions 1. Insert the strap into the lower hole. 2. Wrap both ends of the strap below my helmet, leaving the shorter end inside. 3. Pass the strap through the fog guard and insert it into the right hole before moving to the left hole. 4. Wrap the strap back inside, and at this point you can use any buckle, adjuster or clip to finish the line - check out https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=strap&dwh=595e5635ce70e91 for options. Custom Fit Trick Use a hairdryer for about 5-10 seconds to heat up the strap, and then gently adjust it until it fits the curves of my helmet perfectly. Let it cool, and you'll have a custom cam holder that fits your helmet like a glove. PS1: My helmet is a Flip-up type, which means the strap might block the unlock button. If you have a normal helmet, this shouldn't be an issue - I might need to redesign the X-Shape instead of the Y-Shape. Using two straps would solve the problem, but I'm open to suggestions. PS2: This design is still a work-in-progress, so it may not match the picture exactly.
