The mount for our ship's Helm had broken after 25 years of faithful service, necessitating a replacement that would meet its exacting standards. I took on the challenge of recreating the original in Tinkercad, determined to produce an accurate replica worthy of sharing with others. My efforts paid off, and I'm confident that my rendition does justice to the original design. For those looking to print their own version, I highly recommend printing it sideways to achieve vertical layer lines, which will greatly enhance its structural integrity when mounted on a ship's Helm. This simple yet effective approach will ensure that the mount resists bending and holds fast under even the most rigorous conditions.
