The mounting bracket for our ship's helm has given out after a quarter century of faithful service. Undaunted, I set about recreating it from scratch using Tinkercad, and I'm pleased to report that my efforts have paid off. I'd like to share my handiwork with you. To get the best results when printing, I highly recommend laying the model down sideways, which will yield vertical layer lines. This simple trick should help prevent the mounting bracket from warping or bending when it's finally put into service.
