Though each is different, all wear ornate, armor from any of a dozen forgotten eons. By tradition, hell knights do not attack one another, the only perk of their high station. All one needs to do to become a hell knight is to kill one, wear its armor, and take up its notched sword. After all, what more is there to who we are than how people see us? All Hell Knights bear a sulfur stone, which contains a fragment of the Hate Star. Breathing in the fumes from this stone causes agonizing pain, even for the Hell Knights themselves.
