Helix_T Windturbine V 1.00
thingiverse
Mihalis Fountouklis is seeking assistance with his open thesis project, a 3D-printable wind turbine, at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. The turbine aims to provide users with free energy harvested via wind power. As it's still under development, Mihalis welcomes contributions and feedback. The STL files are available, with 3DM files set to be uploaded soon for use in Rhinoceros. Assembly is straightforward, following a provided diagram and renderings of the final design. The only additional items required are 3mm bolts, a DC motor (27mm diameter, max 37mm length), and a two-slot AAA battery charger or alternative battery. Motor size can be varied as long as the diameter remains consistent. As this is a work in progress, Mihalis encourages feedback on the project. The files are compatible with any 200x200mm 3D printer, not just RepRap models, potentially offering better resolution depending on the printer used.
With this file you will be able to print Helix_T Windturbine V 1.00 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Helix_T Windturbine V 1.00.
