Helix Co. Challenge Entry

This design challenge required a casing that could accommodate both the upright and recumbent exercise devices. The initial concept was put on hold and later returned to with some modifications, such as adding white to the sides of the casing for enhanced appeal. Ultimately, the designer found the upright device's appearance from all angles quite appealing, but felt the recumbent machine required a matching casing underneath the seat for a more cohesive look. The casing is injection molded with highly polished parts for a high gloss finish, while other areas are ABS with potential green paint or stickers. However, some geometries for proper cover attachment were not included in this design submission.
