Helicopter
thingiverse
This helicopter model boasts a main rotor, tail rotor, and landing skids. The removable tail boom fits securely in place. Start your MakerBot aircraft collection with this model or gift it to an aspiring pilot; inspiration could take them far. Designed by Matt/Chris. To assemble, attach the pin to the tail and connect it to the helicopter's body. Insert rotor axles into the tail, then add the rotors. Place windows, logos, and runners in the body's slots. Attach the top piece using a connector, followed by snapping on the propeller. For optimal results, use these settings: for windows and logos, set infill to 0%, layer height resolution at 200 microns (0.20 mm), and no shells. For all other pieces, adjust infill to 10%, layer height at 250 microns (0.25 mm), and one shell.
