The model was created and rendered using 3DS MAX 2016, no additional software was necessary to complete the process. Its unique quad-based topology allows users to easily increase or decrease the resolution with the TurboSmooth modifier. Optional equipment, such as a machine gun and bombs, is included in this version of the model. Many parts are animated, including doors, windows, rotors, landing gears, the tail wing, and the ability to fold the tail. This animation allows users to quickly customize the model's position and pose. The textures come in JPG format, ranging from 4096x4096 (for the main body of the plane) to 1024x1024 pixels for the cockpit and other details. These include color, specular, glossiness, transparency, and reflection maps to help complete a highly realistic look. A tremendous amount of time was spent on this model, totaling over 320 hours. In terms of OBJ file format, no subdivision is necessary as the polygons are pre-aligned. OBJ users should find that the texture coordinates match those found in the Max version. A simple step-by-step guide has been included for easy setup if needed. Users working with FBX format can simply load and begin customizing the model as the materials have already been applied. Those who work with STL formats may be pleased to know that highly detailed geometry was used, making it a suitable choice for various uses.
