Larger versions should make use of infill patterns to save material. Designed to run on a single bottom bearing. The person printing shall have to decide themselves which bearing to use and how to fit it. A small center-mark for drilling has been incorporated into the bottom surface. This is more of a kinetic sculpture than something designed to withstand very strong winds. But it is based on drawings taken from a scientific white-paper and is a proper Helical Savonius with all the correct ratios etc. My main addition is the elliptical leading-face on each vane which doubles-up as an aesthetically-pleasing hidden support structure.
