An innovative mechanism, almost assembly-ready without 3D printing, showcases unique internal helical gears connected by a 90-degree angle on both sides. The mirrored teeth restrict movement to under 180 degrees of each gear, with a 1mm distance between surfaces. An update on January 8th, 2014, widened the spacing between teeth from 0.5mm to 1mm and added chamfers for reduced risk of sticking.
