I sought out a wedding ring that could withstand the rigors of daily wear at work without worrying about losing it or having it damaged in some way. So I designed and created a flat one, measuring 8mm by 1.25mm thick, but then I decided to take it up a notch and add helical gear teeth to this new version. With 33 teeth and a 16-degree sweep, I was looking for something unique. Now, when I wear this ring, I find myself instinctively moving it to my index finger and spinning it with my thumbnail like a miniature fidget spinner. This particular ring is size 11, with an inside diameter of 20.95mm.
