Height-adjustable platform with stabiliser side-arm
thingiverse
This was designed for a very specific task. It aimed to balance a bulky monochromatic infrared source inside the vacuum chamber of an infrared spectrometer while attempting to jury-rig it to measure fluorescence (it failed). This thing is related to that. The platform is adjustable in height via a nut and bolt (see images). The stabiliser side-arm is also height-adjustable, or can be completely removed if not necessary. It attaches to the side of the platform base (a screw is shown in the picture). Although made for a very specific purpose, this thing might have more general uses.
