Height adjust thingy (M6 Rampa nut combo)
thingiverse
I'm making it up as I go again, but somehow things always seem to fall into place. The feet are already done, now it's time to move on to the next part - height adjustment. A Rampa nut goes inside the conduit and is used in conjunction with a piece of M6 wire. This combo allows for some manual level adjustments to be made. As you reach the bottom of your CNC setup, you'll need a few more components to complete it. Like I said, I'm winging it here... This part needs some sanding to get a smooth fit. I used an old belt that had been cut up for this purpose. It takes time, but the end result is a tight seal every time. To drive the tube in, I marked it and then used a long piece of wood to apply the final 2 cm of pressure.
