Heel-erz

Heel-erz, designed by Kaleb Harris of Norwalk High School under instructor Adam Leutenegger, addresses two common issues: rapid sole wear and shoe attachment. This innovative product consists of three protective attachments made from rubber-like plastic that act as a sacrificial layer to safeguard the bottom of your shoes from damage. The front part sports a hard plastic material functioning as a bumper for extra protection. These layers cover the areas where you place maximum weight, thereby extending the shoe's life. Attached using standard FDM printing technology, Heel-erz also offers additional cushioning, reducing shock and pain when walking. Moreover, its design enhances bounciness, offering overall improvement to regular footwear.
