I am really fond of the little guy. The quill-covered creature is one I have always enjoyed seeing. He seems to me like an animal of unique beauty, and a wonderful addition to our wildlife scene. In my opinion, he makes for a great subject of study. His defensive mechanism with its long spikes makes him stand out in any situation where danger lurks. That being said, I must admit that his prickly appearance has always had a charm that attracts me, and makes him one animal whose popularity endures to this day.
