HedgeHog Egg Saver
grabcad
The design of this egg-saving device was inspired by the hedgehog's quills and a spiky ball from childhood. It utilizes spikes instead of springs to absorb impact forces, with these spikes placed on the base and surfaces of its four arms. Key features include its ability to protect an egg falling at any angle, tolerance for slight differences in egg size, easy opening and closing, and simple assembly. The design uses four pins and arms for holding the egg, with elevations in the base and arms for locking it into place. Materials include polyethylene or nylon, and dimensions are 100mmx116mmx116mm. However, this concept has not been tested due to a lack of access to a 3D printer. Thank you for your attention.
