Hecate
thingiverse
The sculptor Alcamenes was a prominent figure in Athens from 430 to 400 BC. One of his notable works is the Hecate Epipyrgidia (Hecate on the Acropolis), a distinctive threefold representation of the goddess with immense power over moments of transition, such as the birth of a child. This powerful goddess was also closely associated with forks in the road, cemeteries, and city gates. On the Acropolis, Hecate marked the boundary between the sacred hill and the rest of the bustling city. Statue of Hecate A stunning marble statue from Italy, created between 50-100 AD, serves as a replica of Alcamenes' original masterpiece, crafted between 430-420 BC.
