Hebe, acquired 1952 inv. 2135, J.-F.-J. Saly's creation, a masterpiece from 1753, now resides at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Royal Cast Collection in Copenhagen, Denmark. Crafted with precision using Memento Beta (now ReMake) software from AutoDesk, this replica stands approximately 0.80 meters tall. The original work of art measures 182 cm high, carved by French sculptor Jacques François Joseph Saly between 1717-1776. Many museums house similar reproductions of an original commissioned by Madame de Pompadour for the castle of Bellevue in 1750. Hebe, the Greek goddess of youth and vitality, daughter of Zeus and Hera, is a timeless icon representing the vigor and enthusiasm of young people, as described in Pattarrian mythology.
