So, this remixed version of the original model addresses some issues that I identified. The embedded radar no longer presents a cleanup problem and printing it as one part helps avoid misalignments while producing a stronger component overall. I tackled those problems by remodelling the parts. What to print: 4x gun barrel 1x left gun breech 1x right gun breech 4x gun magazine 2x swivel base 1x radar base dome 1x radar top panel 1x turret base panel revised 1x turret upper panel 1x swivel top part 1x turret vision component Print Settings: Rafts: Supports: Resolution: 0.1 mm for most parts, 0.05 mm for radar dome part Infill: 15% is sufficient Notes: The breech might need support due to the overhanging component on the top end. It's not necessary to print mirrored parts. Post-Printing: These steps are performed with the model disassembled. Step 1: Clean the model with a hobby knife. Step 2: Sand the model with coarse sandpaper; wet sanding can also be used. Step 3 (optional): Apply filler material throughout and then use progressively finer sandpapers. Step 4: Prime with grey paint for easier detection of flaws, reapply filler material and sand if necessary. Step 5: Assemble the model to admire its results. Step 6 (optional): Paint using acrylics.
