You'd be better off buying a similar case outright. However, there are specific situations where you'll need a customized fit for particular equipment, which is exactly why this case was created. The case features a silicone seal around its rim to ensure it's watertight. The hinges and latches' pins can either be printed or replaced with 6mm bolts. This case is substantial in size and might not fit on most standard printers. Nevertheless, it scales down well and I've even managed to print it at half the original size. If you plan to shrink the case that much, using steel screws as hinge pins would be a wise decision.
