This is a remix of my storm door closer bracket. That bracket has minimal support at the base. Leverage eventually causes the upper half to break off from the base. This bracket has an enlarged base for extra support. An additional file was added with a 6MM opening for some closers. 5MM was the original size of the opening. Mild filing could widen it more. It shouldn't be too wide since it will have excessive wobble with less surface material for support which isn't good.
