A heavy duty retract unit for RC planes. I expect them to work in planes up to 4 kg/60-size. Maybe larger. I haven't used them in a plane yet but they operate well. Trunnion85 is an 85° trunnion. Trunnion90 is a 90° trunnion. Trunnion95 is a 95° trunnion. Remove the support blocks shown in the illustration from the trunnions and the retract base after printing, with pliers. It's easy to remove. Use 3mm steel wire or carbon rod through the arm and trunnion as hinge and guide pins. I recommend using a special retract servo to operate them as they have features that are beneficial, but a regular servo can also be used off course. The trunnions fit 5 mm landing gear legs. Use an M4x6 grub screw in the trunnion to hold the landing gear leg in place. Make a flat spot in the landing gear leg to ensure it does not rotate in the trunnion. Clean up the slot in the sides of the retract bases until they are straight and parallel so that the guide pin in the arm slides freely.
