After exhausting options for off-the-shelf 18650 battery holders, I opted to create one tailored to my specific requirements using Autodesk 123D Design. This custom-made holder boasts a sturdy construction when printed at 100% infill, along with the added benefit of being mountable. Terminal connections can be easily achieved with machine screws and hex nuts (I utilized 3mm fasteners), complemented by a wingnut for extra security. Notably, there is ample vertical clearance within the holder to securely lock down the cell using the screws, while the cell itself snaps into place snugly within the holder's confines.
