Heavy Duty Geeetech gt2560 - jp-6445a case
thingiverse
I've built a massive Reprap printer in the style of a Megalith, with dimensions of 52cm x 52cm x 52cm. However, I'm struggling with torque issues - my Nema 17 motor just can't handle the weight load, which includes a silicone heater, a 5mm thick aluminum bed, and 5mm thick glass. To overcome this problem, I've upgraded the Y-axis to a powerful Nema 23 4A stepper motor, paired with a new high-performance JP-6445A stepper driver. This upgrade has significantly improved print quality. Additionally, you may need to adjust your prints by enlarging them by 1mm for optimal results if they don't fit well initially.
