It allows you to simply crack the door open to let dishes air dry and save energy on heated drying. The one here pictured is installed in front of an island, so when the door opens, it takes up most of the walking space.This was designed for a Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher and can be remixed to fit others. As pictured, it holds on to the door and clips well onto the centered metal bracket that normally secures the door and easily releases.The first model is flat for unsupported printing and the protrusion can be bent by heating at the joint and adjusting to the proper angle. Included is a model with a 15 degree bend that needs to be supported while printing, if you don't want to heat and bend. However, you should print this one on it's side to strengthen the print. If printed flat, the layering will staircase in the direction it will be supporting the dishwasher door and is prone to break easily.This is an original design free for anyone to use, although I am accepting tips!
