Two holes allow you to securely push through your + and - wires, then fit the torpedo / C5W / dome bulb with a snug push fit. These bulbs can be found for a low cost on Amazon or any other online retailer. For optimal performance, consider purchasing one with a heatsink due to heat concerns. Printing this attachment in PETG will also improve its durability.\r\n**Update - added bracket for Noctua A4x20 fan, or fans with a 4.6mm hole.** **V1.41 Update\r\nSeveral issues were fixed in this update:** 1. The left side wing mount nut hole was made smaller to ensure a secure grip on the nut when inserted.\r\n 2. The filament sensor height was increased by a couple of mm - this adjustment allows for maximum pressure on the filament and prevents random skipping or slipping during printing.\r\n 3. The poly count was reduced, resulting in a cleaner and more compact file.\r\n 4. The left wing mount surface issues were addressed by making it flat to ensure stability.\r\n __________________________________\r\n\r\nThis direct mount extruder is a remix of two different components: an extruder mount from the superbly awesome heavy duty V6 mount, and a sensor that has been moved down and aligned directly over the V6 bowden point. The bottom was then chopped off and grafted onto the V6 mount with additional supports.\r\n\r\nOther direct mounts may not allow for the full 400mm height due to stepper motor constraints, but this mount achieves this without adding excessive mass.\r\n The mount attaches to the X axis carriage bracket as per the original design, with similar fitment characteristics. However, the extruder has been modified to accommodate the V6 bowden point. Make sure to measure the bowden tube carefully so that it fits snugly into the V6 seating and fully up into the extruder mount.\r\n\r\nIf not seated correctly or too short, it may catch; if too long, a kink in the bowden can cause issues. No additional components are required for this setup.\r\n Keep in mind that the 5010 blower wings will only move upward by about 2.5mm from their lowest position, which is perfect for my setup but may vary depending on your printer configuration.
