I have three kids and the all-plastic flexible style locks don't stand up well. Our one-year-old can open them easily. Additionally, none of the locks I've found fit our cabinets/drawers properly. They lack screw holes in the right spots or don't have enough double-sided adhesive grabs. To compensate, I made the mounting plate larger so you could try using some double-sided 3M sticky tape; it might work okay. However, I haven't tested it and I believe screws are still the best option.
