Heavy duty ball joint, one end attaches to 40mm tubing (36,4mm oD) the other end to a piece of wood to lift something, in my case the celing. The tilting motion limited to 10 degrees. Four 3.2x 45 mm wood screvs used to lock joint togher. I have tested the joint with more than 500kg. I used a RH-pusher (google) treefelling device with and replaced the piston with a 40mm.
