A top-quality 1.75mm bowden extruder stands out from the competition for its impressive sturdiness compared to others available. It features a generous 9.8mm outlet that accepts an E3D bowden connector (e3d-online.com/Mechanical/Bowden/Threaded-Bowden-Coupling-1.75mm-Filament) and I found it worked smoothly with mine when tapped using a 1/8" tap. It leverages a robust 608zz bearing for the idler and two sturdy spring bolts to ensure perfect tensioning performance. The MK8 bolt serves as the hobbed bolt in this setup, bringing enhanced strength and reliability to the table. For assembly purposes, take note that supports are already integrated into the STL file; consult instructions for detailed guidance on what you need to do next. When printing at 60% infill with PLA material was more than enough but even a 30% fill rate should work out fine too.
