Heavy Armor Full - Customizing Character Miniature DnD (Thick Shell))
thingiverse
Completed my first Armor Set! Gather those components and attach them to your miniatures to personalize your characters. Extra thick to boost compatibility. Heavily based on authentic Milanese armor (high waist, large shoulder piece, few folds).\r\nMy method to adapt these sets (Blender 2.8+):\r\n1- Load your miniature and the armor parts\r\n2- Place them roughly in position\r\n3- Achieve a good fit by scaling it (if some parts of the mini protrude, don't worry, focus on overall placement)\r\n4 - Attempt sculpting down (elastic deform brush in Blender works wonders!) the parts extending from the original mini.\r\n5- Use the sculpting elastic deform to add final details.\r\n\r\nIt usually takes less than 5 minutes for even intricate models.\r\n\r\nI hope you enjoy it!
