HEATSINK
grabcad
A heat sink is a component that lowers an electronic device's temperature by dispersing heat into the surrounding air. Modern CPUs typically require a heat sink, which could be passive (without a fan) or active (with a fan). Made of aluminum alloy and often featuring fins, these heat dissipation devices work in tandem with fans to cool objects through air flow, representing a standard cooling method.
