Full build info and parts list A base and carriage for guiding a soldering iron during heat setting. The base holds the linear rods in split clamps (so I'd recommend printing it from PETG.) The carriage has a mount for attaching a linear bearing flange on one side, and a clamp for holding the OD of a straight linear bearing on the other. The iron is held by it's grip in a clamp. I've used mine for many dozens of heat sets thus far, and have been pleasantly surprised to not have to replace this little PETG clamp :) (I wasn't sure if the heat coming up from the iron would be enough to destroy it. It's definitely taken the shape of the iron a bit and needed retightening, but so far so good.) Category: DIY
