Heating control for 3D resin printers
prusaprinters
My Saturn 2 printer needs a heater due to the low temperatures in my workshop. Except in summer, the ambient temperatures are too low for the resin.I combined a PTC hot air heater with a VAT heater for printing. The VAT and PTC heaters can be operated separately:The 1st switch controls the VAT heater only. The 2nd switch controls the fan and, when switched on, bridges the conductor to the 3rd switch. The fan thus runs continuously and forces the heat dissipation. To cool down, simply switch off the heater and let it run for a few minutes. The setup can be transferred to the respective 12V or 24V version of the STC-3008 as required. For the 220V version:Keep your hands off self-printed housings to hold the heating element. They get too hot for PETG!
