Heating Connector VW California T6

Update August 2021 The 4 Fins are now more improved an do better fitt to the grid. The Design is now a little more smooth. I did print it now with green tec pro, with should stand temps to 160 degrees. However, the Bio PLA with I used before did the job also wery well. I also did the printing with the round tube on the printerbed. It worked finde, easy to remove the supports. For California T6. Fits in the parking heater near the side door. So it's possible to direct the heating to the upper deck or the front windshield or whererver you would like it to be hot :-) It doesen't cover the whole grid, so the lower part of the van will be stil heatend. All you need is the metal thing to tighten the tube on the modell. And a tube with a diamter of 150mm. You will find these in any home improvement storage. I printed it with petg. I would no recomend to print it with pla- the air is just to hot on the outlet. Even with petg I would not recomend to push it to far with the heat... It was quite tricky to print the thing. Finally I did it with the clamps (the things that holds the cube in position) touching the build plate. Looks weird but worked fine. Let me know if you find a better position... NEW Model 2021: The 4 Fins witch hold the Box are now more stable and precice. I have now tested it in during the winter. With Petg, the Connector gets pretty warm and a little soft with the heating on level 8 (!). But it works anyway...And with Level 8, you will get 30C under the roof :-) I did now print it with BioPLA, with should be do better.
