Heathkit SB Series Circular Dial
thingiverse
The circular tuning dial on my Heathkit SB-301 was so cracked that I was unable to change frequency more than a few hertz. Since these parts are hard to come by, I decided to make my own so I could use the radio while searching for an original replacement. You will need to either hand label the dial indications on this, or print a self-adhesive label for it. But otherwise, it seems to function well. The hub is press-fit into the center of the dial. I used a bench vise to accomplish this, but you could do the same thing with a book or piece of wood or something like that and a little bit of pressure from pushing down on it. There are still some tweaks to be done, it's a little too thick to be an exact duplicate of the original, but I'm using PLA so I don't want to thin is down too much for fear of it warping from the heat of the radio. If you print it, please post a pic!
