Heathkit Hero 1 Gripper
thingiverse
Originally designed and printed by Gyrobot, the Heath Company initiated the HERO 1 project in October 1979, with the first units available in 1982. This nostalgic piece showcases the advanced technology of its time, often referred to as the R2D2 of its era. The provided STL file is for a replacement gripper jaw on the end of the robotic arm, replicated from the Heathkit at the Museum of Computing in Swindon. For a set of replacement grippers, print this grip with support and duplicate the process.
