Heaters on indicator light post and back plate for Solidoodle
thingiverse
This object was designed using Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://tinkercad.com/things/8bNnCZW2Cur. Primarily, it serves as a solution for identifying if power is reaching heaters when dealing with no-heat issues. However, it also functions as a simple light show for those who enjoy flashing lights. To assemble, I added a rear cover to conceal the LED leads and resistors. The components used were 4K for red and 1K for green, with red representing the bed heater and green signifying the extruder. Afterward, wires were connected to the heater plugs, ensuring correct polarity. Finally, hot glue was applied to secure the pieces in place, along with a magnet being glued to the base for added functionality.
