Heatermeter Sous Vide Enclosure
thingiverse
An enclosure designed specifically to house a solid state relay (SSR) connects the Heatermeter BBQ controller to various appliances. Used to transform the Heatermeter into a Sous Vide controller, this enclosure regulates water bath temperatures precisely. I built it initially to control a slow cooker, but despite the SSR's passive cooling features at the bottom, high amperage equipment is not recommended for use with this setup. The enclosure mounts securely on the bottom via printed female M6 threads and features pressed-on caps serving as feet for M6 Hex Cap screws (Allen Head). Additional information about the project can be found on the Heatermeter forum here: http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?64200-Sous-Vide-Setup. Successful printing requires using supports for the case.
