Heaterbloc Jar Heater Base
thingiverse
Edit 1/18: Updated dimensions - widened slot for the wire cage for an easier fit.Edit 2/28: Updated dimensions - lowered diameter on center wall for the jar and made the central hole smaller for a better fit.A revised base for mason jar heaters according to the original Heaterbloc design. The "b" versions have screw/nail holes in the center, "c" versions have extra cutouts to minimize material cost, and the "trimmed" lack the extra brim and warnings. This reduces print time at the cost of stability. These bases have a wider diameter than DarrenHumphrey's bases, according to the original 16" circumference spec, which makes them suitable for the original design with 6" pots, and less prone to tipping.I've also added some warning labels to the brim in English and Spanish. I recommend printing the first 1.4mm (7 layers at 0.2mm layer height, 5 layers at 0.28) in a contrasting color to make the text more legible. This can be done by inserting an M0 "Stop" into the Gcode after those layers to change filaments then resume the print.Instructions to build the heaters can be found here:https://t.co/t9VyjUpEzB
