Heater Bed Cable Clip for MP Select Mini Brutus Bed Upgrade

I have the MP Select Mini and the 4DM Brutus Bed Upgrade, I ran my wiring out of the side to the back (see pics). This cable clip will work for you maybe as I did some modifications to the bed and I ran my wires differently than most people. Someone may have done the same thing so that's why I'm uploading this design/remix. This is a remix of a part for another printer actually (see source). This may work with other 4DM bed Maximus, not sure as I have Brutus. I also drilled new holes in the bed and moved the bed heater to the center of the bed for more even heating so I had the existing holes left over from the original Brutus bed heater placement. The wires were sticking out of the side and I didn't care for it so I wanted something to make it look neater and tidier. There are two STL files, one with the original hole from the original design and then one where I removed the hole and made it solid. I did not make a hole for you to use for mounting the cable clip, you'll need to do that yourself and your position might be different from mine. You will need a screw and nut and I would advise using locktight or glue to keep the screw/nut from coming lose. Print Settings Printer: mp select mini Supports: Yes Resolution: your choice Infill: your choice Notes: I ran 100% infill as it's small and I wanted to make sure it would stay in shape and hold cable tightly. You will need supports touching build plate possibly, depending on how you print it. You can print it vertically or horizontally. I printed with PLA as heat is not an issue for me as I have it mounted under my cork board insulation, so it is the bracket, cork, bed for my installation. You may want to use ABS or PETG though depending on your mounting as it will be very close to heater or touching heater. Post-Printing Hole Placement etc The hole is easy, line it up with wire in it under bed and mark hole placement with marker and then drill. You will need screw and nut, and again make sure to use locktight or glue to hole it in place so it won't move and it will come lose with bed movement. Screw and nut size is just the same as the bed and heater that came with Brutus bed upgrade, m3 size I believe. How I Designed This remixed I remixed this from a part from another printer, I cut it down thinner and then extended it so it would hold all of my wiring. Category: 3D Printer Parts
