Update 060319: I have added STLs for the Heizbettcover, Spoolholder remix (Original -> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272) which is installed in the Topcase and the Controller cover. The fan in the side wall cools the Steppermotor above it and consists of these parts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40453 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1284759 --------------------------------------------------------- Here's a quick and dirty guide to converting the Flashforge Finder with a heated MK3 print bed. Since the connectors are not always the same, I'm skipping precise cm measurements and focusing on the setup. The print will be done on a detachable Spiegelfliese that can be swapped out. It works very well and expands the filament spectrum for the printer significantly. The required parts were printed with Extrudr's "Green-Tec" to make them heat-resistant. This is especially important for the Spiegelfliese holder parts. Keep in mind that if temperatures above 110C are reached at the bed, Green-Tec reaches its limits, and HTPLA is the only way to go (I've wasted many nerves trying to get it right). For my purposes, 80 C at the print bed is more than enough. **The parts list can be found below.** To-Dos and further printer optimizations: - Document temperature regulation (implemented using Arduino PWM/MOSFET) - Document top build (Holplatten with Plexiglastür and internal filament holder) - Filament Guard rebuild - Bauraum isolation optimization (currently achieved with magnetic wood plates) **Please be aware that you may damage your printer during the build. So please proceed with caution.** Comments and improvement suggestions are welcome.
